Wildeklawer Griquas entertain Xerox Lions at Absa Park, Kimberley on Saturday afternoon at 3 pm. With injuries still plaguing Griquas, coach Dawie Theron is still optimistic that his charges will carry on the good work from their narrow win over the powerful Western Province team last Saturday, and improve to beat the Lions by a better margin. Although there is still plenty of room for improvement, Theron is sticking by his players, as they remain focused and positive and are keeping their feet on the ground by not becoming too complacent, while still being confident.
The Lions are a dangerous side at the best of times and are playing good rugby at present. They are a well balanced side, with plenty of pace and like to play the running game, but Theron says that the Griquas boys are well prepared and to stay in the hunt, they have to beat the Lions on Saturday.
