Griquas vs Sharks

Saturday afternoon sees Wildeklawer Griquas entertaining the Sharks at GWK Park in Kimberley, kick-off 3 pm. This will be an important match for both the Sharks, who narrowly beat the Lions last week end, as well as for Griquas who need a second win under their belts. Both teams have had to shuffle their team around slightly, Griquas through injuries to key players and the Sharks due to injuries as well as players being at the Springbok camp.

Griqua’s  coach, Dawie Theron has come up with an exciting new look backline which could become a Currie Cup match winning combination, if successful. Theron’s  charges should build on their last twenty minute performance from their previous match against the Lions in Kimberley, which Griquas lost narrowly, after coming back from a large deficit. In the meanwhile. During last week and this week. Griquas had a bye last weekend, they have been hard at work, ironing out on the mistakes made in previous matches, ie missed tackles, line outs and kicking errors. The referee for Saturday’s clash is Deon von Blommenstein.
