GWK Griquas were back in training, after the Christmas break, on Monday January 12 in preparation for the upcoming Vodacom Cup which kicks off on February 27. Griquas will be playing against the Valke in the opening match at GWK Stadium, kickoff at 3 pm.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday were used by head coach, Dawie Theron to gauge player’s fitness, so that the final squad can be finalized by next week. Sporting a new sponsor in GWK and a new CEO, Laurie Lahoud, Griquas will want to improve on last year’s performances, especially in the Currie Cup, where Lahoud has set the target of no lower than fifth on the log.
